Since 1992, Mairi has been an integral part of Glavas Inn, starting as one of our very first housekeepers. A few years later, her passion for hospitality led her to the kitchen—well before Glavas Inn became an all-inclusive destination. Mairi’s experience as a mother of three daughters, a grandmother of seven, and now a great-grandmother has given her a deep understanding of what “spitiko” (homemade) food truly means for us and for the Glavas Inn concept—authentic, comforting, and made with love.

Today, 33 years later, Mairi continues to create delicious meals that remind our guests of the warmth of home. Every guest who visits Glavas Inn knows Mairi and her incredible cooking skills. She’s not just a team member; she’s been part of our extended family from the very beginning.

Beyond the Kitchen: Mairi was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and moved to Greece in her early adulthood. She quickly fell in love with the beauty of Halkidiki, as well as the warmth and rhythm of Greek life. Her love for this place and its culture has been a constant source of inspiration. She treats not only guests but also every employee like a family member. Mairi thrives in environments where passion, creativity, and enthusiasm come together.
